What We Do

The Muirfield Company specializes in the acquisition, management, and renovation of apartment buildings in the Bay Area. We form private partnerships directed towards purchasing real estate, we consult clients in their own acquisitions, and we perform third party fee management for clients. Using our personal business model, we specialize in the process of assessing offerings, acquiring, and  then renovating and repositioning an asset for the eventual exit. Our objective is to raise the property's net operating income (NOI) in order to create a targeted level of appreciation as apartments are valued using this figure. 

Targeted annualized rates of return are expected to be 13% or greater. This we have consistently achieved throughout our careers. We recommend apartments in our area for the reasons of preservation of capital, diversification, conservative leveraged growth, tax benefits, and capital appreciation. This is an excellent diversification vehicle for those in the Silicon Valley tied to the fortunes of the NASDAQ. 

Investment Team

President- Robert Miroyan

Robert Miroyan has an extensive background in property acquisition and disposition, as well as operations, renovations and financing. The Miroyan family has owned and operated investment properties since 1982 and is responsible for their portfolio's growth and direction. He received his undergraduate degree from Fresno State University in Business Administration and Economics. It is Mr. Miroyan's responsibility to oversee all management operations and ensure the successful execution of all objectives stated within the management plan.

Vice President- Peter Miroyan

Peter Miroyan works closely with his brother in respect to overseeing property operations, renovations, financial reviews, and all legal matters. He is a graduate with honors from U.C. Davis and has extensive experience in estate tax planning and financial portfolio management. 

Chief Asset Manager- Margo Hobson

Margo Hobson has been engaged in multi-family real estate for over 30 years. Her depth of knowledge and experience is greater than most as she has been involved in all aspects of leasing and operations coupled with a strong construction background, allowing her to fully understand the depth behind renovations and larger capital projects. Such experience allows her to make decisions which yield results benefitting all properties within our personal portfolio. 

Controller- Josie Nanquil

Josie Nanquil is responsible for all financial aspects concerning the Muirfield Company. Having worked for the company for the last 15 years, she is intimately aware and responsible for overseeing monthly accounting activities as well as budgets and the preparation of all financial statements. Josie has a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Santa Clara University and a Masters in Organization Management from the University of Phoenix.
